Since our kitchen and meals area was tiled recently, my original dining setting didn't suite no more. It felt too bold and chunky for the small space, and I needed a setting that made the space feel larger.
That's when I came across this gorgeous DIY dining table featured on this Norwegian blog.. http://heltenkelthosmig.blogspot.com.au/2010/09/diy-projekt-avslutat.html
With a bit of help from my boyfriend, and a trip to Ikea and the local hardware store, we managed to re create the table, and add our own personal touch. The space feels more airy, open and homely.
For years I wanted to buy Louis Ghost Chairs, and I have finally found the perfect spot for them!
The trestle legs add a relaxed look while the Ghost Chairs add a little charm.
What do you think? Could this work in your home? Why not try adding a stencil to the table top to give it that home made touch! xx
